Anxiety is something that a lot of people struggle with, but is not something that a lot of people know how to work through. When you struggle with anxiety, do you feel as though it cripples you and debilitates you from performing everyday tasks? You are NOT alone in this so many people feel the same as you do everyday, but the questions that you shouldn't be asking yourself are those of why me? Why can't I do this the same as other people? Instead change the script and make your anxiety something of empowerment. Start by making simple statements to yourself everyday. This can be something as simple as stating that morning that you are going to make the most of that day, and you are not going to let your anxiety take over. This can also be something in the form of positivity, when you feel as though you are stressed and your anxiety is going to get the better of you, focus on one positive thing. Focusing on one positive thing is what can help your mind get away from the anxiety and take both your mind and body to a state of ease. Along with positive affirmations it is also important to practice one simple trick and that is to extend your exhale. Now this is one thing scientifically proven to work (I thought it was crap until I tried it), but extending your exhale is something that allows the body to relax. It is also something that helps to put your mind at ease, so don't be afraid to manage some of that anxiety with these few simple tips.
